Scrapbooking While on a Trip

The warm weather this week got me thinking about my annual summer trip to New England. Last year when I returned, I decided to find a way to scrapbook during my next trip.

Space is tight in my luggage for these trips, and I'm always looking for ways to bring less, not more. Maybe I'll have to cut down on clothes! Of course I'll need to bring my photos. I can borrow tools from my mother and sister, who both scrapbook. I'll have to plan carefully and send bulky items ahead. Perhaps a trip to a scrapbooking store while I'm there will be in order. Not a problem! Two years ago my sister and I drove to a wonderful store, Start Scrappin and Stampin, in Sanford, ME. Compared to the stores I shop at here, this store is quite large so getting what I need shouldn't be a problem.

This project promises to be a challenge. Not having a boyfriend tagging along changes a lot though, and now I'll have more control over my time. I'm looking forward to bonding with my mother and sister over scrapbooking, something I've wanted to do for a long time.

More on this as my plans progress!

  1. Could you keep some basic supplies at your camp? Trimmers, scissors, some paper?
